Psychology is the study of the behavior of organisms.Its emphasis is on the overall adaptive behavior of human individuals.In its broadest aspects psychology is studied not only by psychologists, but also by medical practitioners, by jurists, by authors, and, to some extent, by everyone who tries to explain why people act as they do.
